Our story
Têxtil Rarial is the company that owns the Dona Erago chain of stores and the Erago Home online store. It is a Portuguese company founded in 1979 in the municipality of Guimarães, which is dedicated to the manufacture and sale of home textile products: bed, table, bath, decoration and baby. It is a dynamic company, with accumulated know-how from many years dedicated to this sector, having a strong presence in the national market through the Dona Erago stores and also with a substantial presence internationally, exporting to several countries. Initially, all products were made in Portugal, but in response to our customers' requests, we now seek out the best products from all over the world. However, we have not forgotten where and how we were born, and we continue to promote national products in our stores as a symbol of quality and design . All products are manufactured according to our exacting standards and with the most suitable materials, thus enabling quality and the best price. We are proud that, since that distant year of 1979, we have grown in a sustained manner, earning the trust of our customers in the regions where we operate.
Our origin
Erago Home is the natural extension of the Dona Erago brand store chain, which has been operating in Portugal for decades. The first Dona Erago store dates back to 1981 and was located in the city of Bragança. The need for further expansion, as well as the perception we had about the acceptance of our products, led us to look for other areas of the country where we could grow and become a differentiator. We started in Odivelas, then moved on to other locations, namely Moscavide, Cova da Piedade, Baixa da Banheira, Alto Seixalinho, Barreiro, Setúbal, Montijo, Paivas (Seixal) and Coimbra. All of the stores were built with great effort and dedication, taking into account the specific characteristics of the region in order to offer the most suitable products for those populations.
